We hired Act 1 Entertainment to provide a DJ, photo booth and uplighting for our daughter’s wedding reception in June, 2017. Chuck Spencer was responsible for providing these services, and WOW, what a fantastic job he did! The uplighting was beautiful … the photo booth was abig hit … and Chuck is a GREAT DJ! Not only was he friendly and entertaining all night long, he made sure everything moved along according to schedule. He also put together videos for the Bride/Groom, Father/Daughter and Mother/Son dances that brought tears to some eyes. Thank you Chuck, for helping make Lauren and Justin’s wedding day a joyous, unforgettable experience for us. Even though this is a review for Active Entertainment, I think it would be very helpful for anyone planning a wedding to know that Chuck works closely with Amber from Amber Henry Photography and with Jeff Carpenter from Design Haven Studios. You couldn’t go wrong by hiring any of them independently, but if you hire them together, it will be one of the best decisions you will make. Amber is an amazing, creative photographer and Jeff is amazing, creative videographer. The three businesses are located in the same building and Chuck, Amber and Jeff love working with each other; and it shows. They know each other’s requirements and help each other rather than get in each other’s way. We were fortunate enough to hire each of them (book early) and it was truly a blessing for us. They were always upbeat and smiling and made us feel like we were family. We knew that they wanted everything to be perfect and it was a huge comfort to be able to put our trust in them. It was a real pleasure having them spend the day with us. My wife referred to them as the “dream team of weddings” in her reviews; a very fitting label. - Rick S
These guys did a great job! Chuck was more than a DJ. He went out of his way getting ready for the wedding day and answered all our questions. He guided us and helped create a timeline for the evening. He took the time to make sure the music for our special dance was just right.He even helped during dinner to entertain guests with a game while waiting for their turn to eat making dinner so much more fun. Also Their equipment is state of the art. The experience was all positive and he did everything in his power to make the day go perfectly for the bride and groom! - Nikki C
